Linkage College provides both residential and day programmes. The college also has the capacity to meet the needs of those requiring a 52-week placement. Students are generally aged between 16-25 and come from all parts of the UK. The college enterprise curriculum has been recognised as best practice by Ofsted.
Linkage has established a very successful and bespoke Specialist Transitionary Autism Resource (STAR) to enable learners with more complex needs to successfully access and benefit from specialist further education. Based in one of our residential training houses, the provision is a stepping stone for individuals who would ordinarily find it difficult to move straight into our college environment. A team of highly specialised staff including a Registered Manager, Independence Tutors and Learner Assistants deliver support and guidance and a Programme Area Manager leads the educational programme. Each bespoke programme is created in conjunction with parents, the learner and other significant specialists and is delivered by specialist lecturers with specialist resources.
