A disabled person’s local travel pass is a free travel pass funded by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. It offers free local travel on buses and trains. It is available to East Riding residents with specific disabilities. You will be entitled to a free disabled person’s local travel pass if you are registered with East Riding social services and you are:
- blind
- profoundly or severely deaf
- limbless
- disabled with severe learning disability
Please note: severe learning disability refers to people with a permanent organic learning disability which prevents them from living in the community without significant help and support
There are no age restrictions when applying for a free disabled person’s local travel pass other than being of fare-paying age.
